The Junior Skyland Football Conference was established in December of 2004 by five founding member programs: the Bridgewater Jr. Panthers, the Hillsborough Jr. Raiders, the North Hunterdon Jr. Lions, the Voorhees Jr. Vikings and the Watchung Hills Jr. Warriors.
The goal of the Jr. Skyland Football Conference (JSFC) is to provide a safe and productive environment that enables our players to learn and apply the principles of teamwork, discipline, dedication, and sportsmanship. At JSFC we facilitate the development of strength and character in every child that participates.
JSFC is sustained by the efforts of volunteers who display an extraordinary amount of commitment and hard work, ensuring that our league is a positive influence in the lives of our children. We also strive to provide a service to our community by providing a healthy outlet for children, opportunities for the community to gather together, and endless hours of entertainment.
In an effort to have our individual leagues positively impact their local public high school football program and to nurture a smooth transition from youth to high school football we require all teams that participate in the JSFC have the support of their local high school head football coach and athletic director. Additionally, they must have the ability to play their home games on their high school’s home football field.
